Terms of Use

Last updated: August 28, 2026

By using nothinpp, you agree to these terms.

1 What the app is

nothinpp is a focus tool that blocks apps and sites on your device using Apple's Screen Time. It is not a parental control service or a security tool; it's a self-control tool you choose to use against yourself.

2 You choose the block, knowingly

By starting a focus session, you are deliberately choosing to restrict your own access to your phone. The app is designed so that leaving has friction (waits, a written reason, a physical gesture) — this is intentional and is the heart of the product, not a defect. If you don't want that friction, don't start the session.

3 Dependence on Apple services

nothinpp runs on top of Screen Time and Family Controls — Apple services. If Apple changes, restricts, or interrupts these, some features may stop working temporarily. We prioritize never leaving you locked out with no way out (fail-open), but we can't guarantee continuous availability of infrastructure we don't operate.

4 Not a substitute for medical or emergency assistance

If you've blocked your phone and need to make an emergency call, all system call/emergency apps remain available — Apple's Screen Time never blocks emergency calls. This is immediate and requires nothing from nothinpp.

For any other reason, "I want to stop" in the options menu ends the session, but on purpose it is not instant: it starts a five-minute wait, and ending this way resets your streak. If you need the block gone immediately, you can turn off Screen Time for nothinpp in iOS Settings, or delete the app — neither of those depends on us.

5 Appropriate use

nothinpp is meant for restricting your own access to your own device. You will not use it to restrict another person's phone access without their explicit knowledge and consent.

6 Changes and service availability

We may modify, pause, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

7 Liability

The app is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to temporary loss of phone access resulting from the user's own decision.

8 Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable at KODDO's place of business, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. If you have a complaint, please write to [email protected] first — we would rather resolve it with you directly than through a court.
